Template notice. This document is published as a starting template. Final terms are subject to review by qualified counsel and to the specific licences and jurisdictions in which NextPayment operates.

1. Scope of the agreement

These terms govern the business services we provide to your company or sole trader entity, including multi-user access, corporate cards, invoicing, expense workflows, and accounting integrations. They apply alongside any plan-specific addenda you accept.

2. Account owners and authorized users

Your account is administered by one or more account owners, who can invite team members and assign them roles. Each invited user must accept our standard user terms before accessing the account.

The account owner is responsible for the actions of authorized users on the account and for maintaining an accurate list of who has access.

3. Verifying your business

Before activating services we perform Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. This may include verifying company registration details, beneficial ownership, and the identity of directors and authorized signatories.

4. Data protection roles

When processing personal data related to your own customers or employees through our platform, you act as data controller and we act as data processor. The Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms and is available in our Privacy & Data section.

5. Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe it is being used for activity prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy, if we detect material changes to your risk profile, or if required by law. Where possible we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond.

6. Data portability on exit

On termination you can export your transaction history, invoices, receipts, and ledger data in standard formats (CSV, PDF) for up to 90 days. After that period we retain records only as required by law.
